Trying to set up mAirlist to work with my Rodecaster Pro 2. All I’m trying to do is route mAirlist to use the RDCP2. No matter what driver I use for the line in in mAirlist I get a violation error and it transmits the meta data but no audio. Any suggestions?
Should I be setting up my PC to use the same channels as the RDCP2 uses with mAirlist? So confused…
Very good question! No answers?

Hi. I also use the Rode Rodecaster Pro II in conjunction with mAirList Version 7.4.6 Home Studio. I simply connected the Rodecaster Pro II via USB and all drivers were recognized. This is what my audio routing looks like:
This is my routing directly on the Rodecaster Pro II:
Does that help?

Just out of personal curiosity:
Are you routing all three players and the cartwall to a single RODECaster Pro II channel (fader)? Or am I misreading the screenshots?
Shouldn’t the Generation II be able to do more?
(Created using a translation programme, too
)
No, that’s a misinterpretation.
Fader 1: Microphone
Fader 2: Player A (1/2)
Fader 3: Player B (3/4)
Fader 4: Player C (5/6)
Fader 5: Bluetooth for phone calls/PC channel (Chat)
Fader 6: Cartwall (7/8) / Smart Pads (I switch between them depending on what I need).
I even use MIDI fader start on the players.
Ah, I see the details. Was not so easy to differ at first sight.
Thank you.
Hi, just trying to figure out something, not sure if you can help me. My brother just bought the rodecaster pro 2 and is setting it up with mAirlist 8 home studio. We are trying to figure out if fader start is possible and if so how should we set it up…
Was searching the web and find info saying fader start is not possible and saying it is. Hopefully someone is able to lead is in the right direction
I specifically upgraded to “Advanced” (Home) for the V8, since the Rodecaster Pro II is directly supported in the remote control settings. This enables fader start.
There is a solution around using Midi-Remote only (no Advanced-Edition needed). Have a go at the search function.
True. That’s how I handled it in the V7. Completely forgotten again. @Zancomedia-thuis What @Tondose says.
For your information: Faderstart is working with the mixer in mAirlist 8… will post a question in a separate thread
