I’ve noticed that the config is not saving the waveform tab correctly from the cue editor in the GUI settings. I can make changes but they are not saved.
Is the “enable waveform box” superfluous? I cannot turn it off in my setup.
I’ve attached part of the GUI ini, for the cue editor if that helps, as there seems to be duplicate settings.

Yes, I think the option should not be there - the waveform is always displayed in the Cue Editor.
(You may have noticed that the same set of Waveform options is used in other places, namely the Player configuration. I just have to filter out the first option for the Cue Editor.)
Why is it that you don’t want the waveform in the Cue Editor? I find it very essential.
Misunderstanding here. I definitely want the waveform display, but changes to the Waveform tab settings are not saved, hence my post.
