Hi Everyone. I’m about to buy mAirList, but i’m testing stuff beforehand, I want to make sure that the new version of the soft fit with what I’m looking for.
I’m using the trial Advanced version (I’m considering buying this version).
On the cartwall, I’ll use 4x4 carts, with 4 faders on the console (1 fader per column).
Here is my problem: when I click on a cart, it start playing but I only want to select the cart.
So, is there a way to set something like “SELECT ON CLICK” instead of “START ON CLICK” ?
(I don’t want to use any button in order to do this, I’m looking for a way to SELECT when i’m clicking on the cart)
Anna, if you activate Ignore mouse clicks in the configuration, @chstd can not select any cart player with the mouse, because this option prevents all mouse clicks on the cartwall.

However, it’s an interesting idea, so I will forward this to Torben. He will check if he can add this as a new option to mAirList.
The (de-)selection of a single (or all) cart players is possible by remote commands like this one (example):
CARTWALL [x] SELECT
… where [x] is the number of the corresponding cart player.
There is a way to start jingles the way you want but not with the cartwall . A lot off dutch users have a omniplayer design with up to 4 players with playlist . In the playlist you add some jingles and the top one is the one that fire on start .

Yeah, I think this could be a very cool feature.
@henk Yeah this is also an option, but my team is familiar with 4x4 cartwall, and I wanna make them feel comfortable. Also, they need to be reactive to what is happening on air, so it’s important to have a way to quickly select a song, and start it directly from the console.

I have 3 extra players whit a playlist in that playlist you can store some items .the one you want just pull it to the top. Or if a caller can choose between 4 records just place evry record in one of the players. The moment the caller chooses hit start and emty the rest when record plays.
