i’m having an issue i can’t get my finger on. We have a 5x4 cartwall we use for support-elements (jingles - logo’s etc.).
When i want to start a player, most of the time this is executed properly (mouseclick or tcp play command make the player play), but also in 20-30% of the time there is no response. When you do the same command again usually the player will go play anyway.
remote is done via TCP commands (play) from Bitfocus companion / Streamdeck. But i already ruled out this is the full cause, as the same behavior is with both mouseclick directly or TCP command from remote.
This is for us quite annoying als both remote and mouse is a toggle, so just always push twice isn’t an option. Also it’s really strange that ‘sometimes’ it just wont start, getting me some annoyed people in my neck
Anybody any clue on what this could be and how it could be solved?
I can confirm that this behaviour is exhibited by cart players in some cases.
Sometimes, when I try to start a cart player using the mouse, it doesn’t respond on the first click (yes, mAirList is the active window!). As you describe, it usually works on the second click.
I use the hotkey function on my additional PrehKeyTec keyboard, and the CARTWALL [x] SELECT command works properly here.
I agree. It can be especially frustrating when you try to start an element exactly on time.
However, I could not reproduce this behaviour in the players or other functions. It seems to be a malfunction within the cartwall that does not always occur.
No, but I am grateful that you have brought it to the surface for discussion. I always thought there was something wrong with my computer or mouse.

I can indeed confirm that this is only with the cardwall / card players. All other players and behavior is instant and steady in response. And in terms of reproducing it seems like if it is almost something with memory, as it looks like if it is a recently played item the issue is not really happening. But is it is not used or new-ish its more happening. (part of garbage-cleaning?) @Torben any clues of things we can do to provide additional information for this issue?
