I recently made a simple 4x4 serial keypad project to interface with the cartwall. There are a couple of images attached.
Buttons 1 to 9 play the appropriate cart; * plays cart 10, 0 plays cart 11 and # plays cart 12.
Buttons A & B plays Player A & B.
Buttons C & D page the cartwall pages forward and backward.
It uses a 4x4 matrix keypad and an Arduino Nano clone. If anyone would like the sketch, or code, please post here and I will upload it.
I have to say I’m not a programmer, but I found this code originally for another board and it would just print the letters on the keypad. With some tweaking it sends serial commands to my 6.1 home installation of mairlist.
