I thought when changing the font size (smaller) of the control bar buttons (AUTO/ASSIST), the height of the bar would also be adjusted but that doesn’t seem to happen. I only get a smaller font size but the buttons remain the same in size.
I’m trying to make the toolbar smaller (in height) and (if possible) change it’s background color.
I’m fairly certain the Playlist Toolbar height is fixed.
The only way I know to change the background colour of the Playlist Toolbar is to change the 3D Objects colour in your Windows Theme (or Display Properties, Appearance tab, Advanced button for XP or earlier), but this will change lots of Windows objects you might not want to change the colour of: Taskbar, scroll bars, any button or toolbar, window border colour, etc., etc.: and for all applications, not just mAirList.
Also, if it helps (?), changing the Window colour in your Windows Theme changes the background colour of the Playlist and Browser panes.
Thanks, Cad.
I thought the height of the control bar was adjustable with the fontsize (not the width).
Maybe I should just disable the on screen playlist control bar and use my external USB X-keys controller instead for changing the AUTO/ASSIST function. This controller has LED-indicators, I could use the red led for AUTO and the blue one for ASSIST.
Regards!
I do find the Edit Bar useful, so you may want to add an X-keys button for that function as well. Plus, of course, for Stop, Next, etc., if you use those functions.
Might be wrong, but I believe you could hide the toolbar and then add custom buttons for the Auto/Assist functions. You could then customize the size of the fonts and buttons (as well as colours).
