The question is in the subject of the topic. I would like to patch the auto-starts of my mix console to the USB port of my computer (by using an adapter parrallel <> USB - will it work?). I would also like to patch one output of my soundcard to a fader of my console, and the second output to another, in order to have a “fader start” of the deck A for the first fader, and the same thing for the deck B of mAirList, and to be able to have the volumes of the decks under my fingertips.
Yes, it’s possible to use the output separately, but only in the paid versions (Personal Edition and Professional Edition). You can request a demo license after registering at the customer area on the website to check if works with your card (most cards do work, there are very few which don’t) before you buy a license.
Regarding the fader start, I propose you grab a cheap USB gamepad, take away the case, and connect your desk contacts to the where the buttons used to be.
thanks a lot fot your answer, and for the usb gamepad tip!
i registered in the customer area a few minutes ago, but the e-mail doesn’t seem to come… i wait some more…
mAirList seem to be one of the few radio broadcast software that support fader start (a very important feature to me)… i know Dalet support it, CUE too… do you know any others?
