Blue Screen Crash

Seriously worried about my mAir software. It has had a "blue screen " during each of my last two shows so that I had to restart pc and use another mp3 player instead.

I launched the software, to run through the tracklist checking that each file worked, prior to each show, as usual, and found no fault, but on each of these shows around 50 mins in, the crash occurred.

Blue screens usually only happen when the error is on operating/driver level. It’s hard to tell where the error comes from without knowledge of the exact error message.

Try to use this software to recover the error text: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html

Hi,

Used the software that you suggested and these were the last two listed:

ntkrnlpa.exe ntkrnlpa.exe+7a000 0x804d7000 0x806e5000 0x0020e000 0x4fa3cc43 04/05/2012 13:32:03 Microsoft® Windows® Operating System NT Kernel & System 5.1.2600.6223 (xpsp_sp3_gdr.120504-1619) Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntkrnlpa.exe

RtkHDAud.sys RtkHDAud.sys+422e96 0xaa310000 0xaa7c0000 0x004b0000 0x48645d82 27/06/2008 04:24:50 Realtek® High Definition Audio Function Driver (HRTF data Copyright 1994 by MIT Media Lab) Realtek® High Definition Audio Function Driver 5.10.0.5653 built by: WinDDK Realtek Semiconductor Corp. C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\RtkHDAud.sys

It’s inside the Realtek audio driver.

I would first check if there is a new version of that driver available.

OK, will check that, thanks
