We currently use Studio Playlist Creator to create . m3u playlists which we currently insert manually.
Is there a way to get Mairlist to automatically insert playlists in order , ie . following date time order one after the other?

Yes Of Course there is.
You can use the Event System. Add an Event and in the “Actions Section” ad the action. You have a choice of:
- Playlist Load
- Playlist Load and Play
- Playlist Insert
- Playlist Insert and Play
- Playlist Append (or attach)
- Playlist Merge
I have chosen Playlist Append here. Sorry, don’t have an english System runnning but I think you get the Point.
Within the filename you can select an existing Playlist first.
Than you replace the Filename with some variables.

So for example %Y-%M-%D_%h:00.m3u Depending on how your File-Names look like.
You also can select what should happen with unknown files, with the check boxes, I think this quite self-explaining.
In the Next Tab “Options”
You can do a time-offset, because obviously, you want the event to be kicked off slightly before TOTH, to have the playlist really ready on TOTH.
I load my playlists yy:59:45 so 15 seconds early.
If you have choosen some file-handling for the unknown files, you may want to give it a bit more time to handle the files on load.
