Hi, should there be a start button in assist mode? This would be handy for live assist or manual mode. I can start with F1 etc commands.
I can see stop play buttons etc in auto mode.

I’ve thought this, too. However, if you define some keyboard keys in the config, you can still control the software. Beware, as the HotKeys you define are global - So those keys are locked-out of other apps.
So avoid numbers+letters where possible, stick F-keys 
Having played with F Commands to start audio in assist mode, I suggest stop/start buttons are added.
F commands either start or pause audio. Any paused audio remaining in the playlist when ideally they should be finished with.
testing continues but otherwise it really is an ease to use.
Looked at this again - no need for buttons if you configure the software to your needs.
Just read Charlies notes again and assigned Ctrl + relevant “F” key to stop. Also relabelled the players to the corresponding “F” keys.
Simple and thanks are the words I’m looking for.
