Last week I recorded a show using the wasapi driver.
It had a lot of dropout’s and you read everywhere use asio as first divice.
So I tried to set up asio in mairlist but evry time I open mairlist with asio I get a bleu screen en the pc crashes an in the blue screen is the name of the audio device.
This is the code
***STOP : 0x0000008E (0Xc0000092, x8DBA6FOF , x8078AD44 , x00000000)
***marc4m.sys- adres 8DBA6FOF base at 8DBA000 , datestamp 480349do
it only hapens in mairlist with asio
I have 2 marian marc4 midi soundcard’s.
So what am I doing wrong?
greetings Henk
Marian cards… hm, not particularly famous for their good drivers. Have you checked if there is an update?
The card is no longer in production there is only one driver for vista and that’s 4.11 witch I use , everything went well until I started with asio.
But when I have some extra money war wold be a good soundcart that runs on win 7/8 64 bit ,I guess that’s the future
Hi Henk,
i’m not an expert in hardware and especially not in asio devices…
but i had similar problems as you described in the past. i tried some settings of my soundcard and mairlist configurations. in the end i “solved” (don’t ask me how) the bluescreen problem as i replace the buffer size value in mairlist from 0 (standard of mairlist) to 256 samples (this value was given by my audio driver). maybe this will help.
My default settings from marian are 800 samples , so I changed it from 0 to 800 ,and stil a bleu screen.
Ps tis is a different pc the first one died.
But the problems are stil the same.
Everything is now set to wasapi and that works.
