Any recommendations for external soundcard

Morning! Any advice please, I’m having issues with my internal soundcards so thinking of using and external USB one. I need 8 x stereo channels that will work with Mairlist of course to go to my Soundcraft RM105 desk. Thanks :slight_smile:

The MOTU 16A will do this job:

Or some other MOTU audio interfaces. There are not many affordable audio interfaces that have 16 output channels.

Then there is the much cheaper ESI Gigaport EX with 8 outputs:

But I couldn’t find anything if you can use two of these interfaces in parallel to get 16 channels.

Unfortunattely, only 1 gigaport HD / gigaport HD+ can be used with one computer at a time as founf on the esi website:

@RuVo80 I have found the confusion:
I recommended the Gigaport EX, you linked the FAQ of the Gigaport HD/HD+. This is the older model and is no longer manufactured.

@Nige.B , drop ESI support a mail and ask if it is possible to have multiple devices on the same computer.

And for the HD/HD+, the information can also be found in the German FAQ.
