Anchor cue point?

What is the purpose of the new Anchor cue point in V3, please?

Have you read the change log?

[*] Removed "reverse fixed time" option. Instead, there's a new cue point named "Anchor" which allows you to set the fixed time reference point freely within the file.

It’s used for e.g. a news opener that starts with say 10 seconds of opening music, then has that “beep” which is supposed to be aligned to the top of the hour, and then a fading music bed or so. In earlier versions, you had to set the fixed time to xx:59:50, now you just set it to 12:00:00 and move the Anchor to 00:10.
