We have 6 players arranged in 2 stacks of 3. When audio is loaded to a player (and waiting to be played) it no longer ejects in all the players , 1 actually does - the other 5 don’t. You are stuck should you wish to change tracks.
That solves things on my home machine, so i will assume the same at the studio. I am there later in the (next 30 minutes)this morning so will check.
What it does do is change the icon in a playlist to a bin. This now becomes confusing as perhaps some may consider this item unuseable. A matter of training in the correct use!
While here, I cannot recall this being asked yet, will mAirList operate in a touch screen mode?
This is how auto-load works: Whenever an auto-load enabled player is empty, it looks for the first item currently not loaded into any other player, and opens it. Without the above mentioned option, when you click the Close button, the player will become empty and its item will become free. Then the player looks for the first free item and - bingo! - loads the same item again.
As you can see, auto-load and the Close button do not work well together. The only way to skip an item in this setup is this “move to history” option, which will make the item inactive. It is then ignored by the auto-load mechanism.
If you want to play an item further down the list without completely skipping the current item, either move the other item further up the list, or drag it into the player manually with the mouse.
