Why does the software freeze on a corrupt audio file?

Yes … when manualy loading after the top of the hour the playlist starts and tracks play. And yes the filenames and location are correct.

Well, the “Load and play database playlist” action does the exact same thing as the browser…

I don’t get it why he goes looking in that directory …Currenty I found a work around … copied the database into the other folder also … not really the perfect solution but hey I had a working top of the hour …

Still not solved. Still freezes…

Wait, what problem are you trying to solve here?

  1. Wrong audio path?

  2. Alleged freeze on corrupt audio files?

I don’t think this is related at all.

Try to find out where this incorrect path comes from to solve problem #1. It shouldn’t make any difference at all if you load the playlist manually through the Database Playlist browser, or automatically through a Load and Play Database Playlist action. There is the same function working in the background.

Okay, I’ve tried what happend if I place a copie in the location. Still freezes (removed the copied files back to originale configuration).

Let’s resume:

  1. audio path in database seem to me to be correct.
  2. Software freeses (and I don’t think the audio file is at the source of this).

We need to find why the software looks in the wrong older.

Still stuck with this issue. Will try to load the database on a spare pc …

What I dont get is why things change without touching. Now the pc runs a few hours without issues (and then freeses again).

Does the software actually freeze, or does just the player hang suddenly? In other words, can you still “use” mAirList (apart from the freezing audio), call menu commands etc.?

You can still push all the buttons.

Ok, so this only affects audio, right?

You said this is a Focusrite interface? I think some users reported similar issues with that brand.

Di a search on the forum. Nothing popped out.

Torben,
is there a solution for this issue?
