Torben: on the web page getdist.php, there is a Warranty Disclaimer which reads:

The author disclaims any liability for loss or damage resulting [b]from[/b] the use of this software.Sorry I did not notice this before: when I download a new version, I usually go direct to to the download 'directory page' and not the [b]getdist.php[/b] page! -- BFN CAD
