Voicetracking

Hi,

We use 5.3.3, and when the voicetrack is recorded and stored, the editor shows a complete green cue editor and isn’t playable.
When saving the hour where the voicetrack is set, switching hours, and opening the voicetrack again, then the cue editor is good, the wave is not fully green, and the voicetrack is playable.
Lame.exe is set in the mAirlist 5.3 folder, also on the VT system.
When looking in the storage, the file shows up immediately after it has been succesfully imported.
How can I fix this?

Any error message when you try to play it?

Cannot open file “E:\xxxxxxx\blabla.mp3”. The system can’t find the specified path.
The file is in there but can’t be found.

The error occurs on the remote machine.
It give’s me the driveletter of the netwerk on the host machine (but when switching between the hours and opening the voicetrack again, the file can be found), and plays like a charm…

My thoughts where that it has to be in the cache.
I switched off the File Management, then tryed it again, and got the BASS error 2.
When switching to another hour, and opening the voicetracked hour, the wave is normal and the voicetrack seems to work just fine.
My doubts are that something is wrong in the File Management.

In another post I’ve read that mAirlist keeps begging for ‘Destination storage not specified’.
When you do that under advanced settings (each time), the file will get stored.
Can you make a fix, that you only have to specify that directory once?

As you can read there are 2 bugs…
Can you please fix them, our dj’s can’t voicetrack at the moment
Thx in advance!

Haven’t been able to reproduce this.

To fix the “destination storage not specified” error, you must set the default import options in the DB preferences (DB app -> Admiministration -> Configuration).

Any idea when it’s solved?

Don’t even know where the problem is at this time

Read again what you wrote…

It’s a filename translation error. I’m investigating.

Thanks…

Great mate!
Looking forward to order another bunch of home licenses when it’s fixed.

Uploaded build 3184, please check if that works better.

You must update both the server and the clients.

Regarding the “storage not specified”, read what I wrote above, you must set the default import options in the DB admin settings.

This thread shall be about the incorrect filename conversion only now.

I will update the server tonight when all live programmes are finished … Thanks for helping out on this…

Works like a charm in the new shapshot!
Thanks Torben! :stuck_out_tongue:
