Voicetrack soundprocessing.

Het

I have some questions when doing voicetracks i cant set up any soundprocessing via VST/ only amplification.

On encoders i can set up VST on my Mic signal this is verrygood but for me voicetrack seems not to be processed in same VST.
How can this be made?

I really need a way to do this via Mairlist voicetrack.

Right now VST plugins are only available for streamed audio (i.e. the encoder). Perhaps it is possible to enable them for file audio (= recorded VT data) as well. I will have to investigate that.

Hey

Would be verry good because if a DJ have his voice audioprocessed via Live mic signal and it sound in one way. The same DJ make a Voicetrack and suddenly sound bad with no loudness & processing. Thats why i want VST on Voicetrack one of my highest wishes to be able in mairlist 4

  • while im thinking on it, it would be verry good if it was possible with AAC+ recording via “encoder save to audio file”. Now it only got (mp3,ogg,opus,wave) if there was a “custom” same as for encoder streams it would be verry nice.

Torben!

Have you come up with a solution on this question?

Finally investigated this. It’s not so easy :frowning:

Adding the VST to the DSP chain is not much of a problem. But displaying the VST editor dialog is a problem! Because it will only open when it is attached to a stream (i.e. processing data), which is not the case if the VT dialog is closed and the config dialog is open. So I have to fiddle around with dummy streams…

Would it be easy if it was a separate VST for say same Plugin but 2 diffrent instances?
