Updates for version 7

I was wondering if updates for version 7.x will still be published.
Previously, updates were regularly made for older versions, and a post would be published if this were to stop, but for version 7, this hasn’t happened since February, and there has been no communication either.
Of course, there can be many reasons why no updates are being made for this version; however, it would be nice to know whether version 7 has been discontinued by now or not.

There are still several users with version 7 who, each for their own reason, have not yet switched to version 8.

Personally, I am still testing and adjusting version 8 before I want to migrate all the stations I manage. Until then, version 7 is running, so the question is whether any updates will still be released.

This is absolutely not an attack on Torben. I know how busy he is and that there is an enormous amount of work involved in creating all the updates. It is purely a request for information for me and all other users of version 7.

Usually if there are any major bugs found, they will be still fixed in previous versions for a while. I assume Torben will keep doing that.

However, new Features will only be adopted into 8.x so this is updated more frequently the way you are used to.

I did the purchase of Version 7 & 8 for all my licenses already but the production system at the moment is still running Version 6. I plan to make a shorter stop in my upgrade path on version 7 than go directly to Version8 as soon I as I have tested it.

In general, as long as any older version is doing the job for you, you should be fine to keep using it.
