UK Clock Change this weekend

This answer is probably staring me in the face, but I’ve been on the go since before dawn and my head is fried

We’re doing a special event this weekend to plug it I’ve decided to run the station on auto from 9pm saturday, up until Sunday Morning

I’ve programed in from 9pm Saturday til 10am Sunday normally 13 hours, but to take account of the clock going forward I just programmed 12 hours, but what is Mairlist going to do come the hour the clocks change will it miss 2am log section and skip to 3am, leaving an hour short ?

Cheers

Graham

It actually depends a bit on the event, but usually mAirList should just skip the missing hour. (Remember it’s 11 hours, not 13.)

I must admit that the DST handling is not very perfect - it’s a big issue even for programmers like us.

so i need to take hour out then yeah ?

Just schedule as usual and expect the 02:00 hour to be skipped by the playout.

In other words: if the schedule from 2:00 h till 3:00 h is the same as 3:00 h till 4:00 h, listeners won’t notice?

It worked…It skipped 2am, and was hoping along nicely all correct when I got in this morning  Thanks Torben
