How do you make Mairlist insert top up songs in the case of a short hour?
First of all, try to schedule enough music for every hour. Rather add a couple of extra songs, just in case.
If it still runs empty, there is a setting in config -> Actions -> When playlist runs empty in automation mode (select from dropdown), where you add things like loading an emergency m3u playlist etc.
