Text Files - Save Local

Hi Torben,
I use text files in my playlists when compiling shows. These are notes/promos that I may have to use/read-from. Sometimes, I need to add/change the content - but aside from opening it in NotePad, the change isn’t permanent.

Is there a way of having “Save Local” include the actual file if it’s TXT file ?

Sorry, I don’t quite get the point. How do you add these files? By drag and drop?

Yeah - by adding TXT in the Config “extensions”, I can see them in a folder just like my LNK shortcuts. I saw that text files were supported a long time ago, and thought they’d be good to drop into playlists as reads/info for DJs.

I can schedule those (just like audio) files in StationPlaylist.

The text files are turned into dummy playlist items when being imported. Unlike ordinary audio files, they are self-contained and don’t keep a reference to the original file - no chance to access the file later. Sorry. I don’t see a way to enabled that without introducing a new playlist item class, which is rather complex.

OK, no problem - for special usage I could just revert to an MLP (which will handle the StartNext cues also).
