If I set a long talkover bed to StartNext a few seconds in (to start a dry voice link in auto), the outro jingle after plays fine but the original bed is still playing… How can I get around this ? I know that I could set the bed’s FadeOut marker accordingly, but if I’m scheduling a Bed, Voice-Track and Outro Jingle automatically - I won’t know how long the bed will need to play for ;(
Could there be an internal playback “rule” that stipulates items are faded out if they are more than 1 position behind the current item ? My playlist looks like this:
TALKOVER BED (actual length is 3mins, StartNext is 3s into file)
DJ VOICE TRACK (length varies but end marker is set correctly)
OUTRO JINGLE
SONG
SONG etc
When executing this, the BED remains playing even when the SONG starts… That’s my gripe! I can’t think of a situation when you would need 2nd, 3rd, 4th previous item playing so I think this request is quite valid… thoughts ?
