I am wondering were to change the studio name.
When u are in history tab of a song in the database, you see the date and time of the history. There is also a column studio.
When i just bought mairlist, there was always the information that the song has been played at “studio 1”
During last year I have bought a new playout pc and since then, the tab studio stays empty.
Where can I find or change the studio name for the playout pc? I would like to see wich studio played the song.
I am thinking about buy another license in the future to have 2 studios, so that is why I want to see wich studio played the song.
Unforunattely this isn’t working in my place…
Maybe it is because the database isn’t on the same computer?
I work in a network environment maybe that has to do with it?
Hopefully someone can say what the issue could be.
I have checked the settings in the database and also in the user and it’s rights…
Can’t find anything what blocks the broadcast pc from updating the studio name.
When i make changes to the database on the broadcast pc, they are stored in the database, so it is allowed to make changes in the database…
It uses the “Name” property of the Instance (Instance.GetName), which may also be set in the config (mAirList.ini -> [General] -> InstanceName) or through command line parameters.
Thx again Torben.
The mairlist.ini file solved the problem
There wasn’t a ‘InstanceName’ label in that file. after creating it, the problem was solved.
