I’m opening this topic, because i think this feature doesn’t exsit in mairlist.
I’m using the internal scheduler and all my musics have a genre type.
It could be great, if, for example, when a “hip-hop” song is planned, the next song is not a hip-hop one.
Or maybe there is already an alternative ?

mAirList’s scheduling algorithm is “one-dimensional”, only uses folder structure as rule base.
Adding more constraints would take it to an entirely different complexity level, where I myself cannot handle it anymore (i.e. design an efficient approximation algorithm). There is a reason why these MusicMaster guys have 35 years of experience.

One more question with rules : you can set rotation rules with hour parameter.
Is it possible to set decimal values ?
