Save Playlist/Cart confirmation

Hi all,

Is there a way to automatically save changes to an existing playlist or cartwall page?

I have enabled ‘Show save confirmation’. This is a useful reminder but takes at least 8 clicks to save both the playlist and a single cartwall page:

  • Save changed playlist? [yes]
  • Browse/enter file name [I select the previously saved playlist and press Save]
  • This file already exists. Would you like to overwrite it? [yes]
  • [Repeat for other carts/playlists]

For playlists I can use Save > Save Playlist which takes 2 clicks but a cartwall page takes 5 clicks: Save > Save page > Browse [select/save] > Overwrite? [yes].

A single Save button (auto overwrite) for existing playlists/cartwall pages would be nice. And a feature to automatically save playlists/cartwall pages upon making a change would be even more awesome.

Hi Maarten,

this “problem” exists since mAirList v6.0 (“No ‘Desktops’ anymore”). Before, in version 5, there was a so-called “desktop” that could be saved - all Windows dialogs included. So this should not be completely new to you since version 7.

I can ask Torben if this is technically possible and if we want that this way.
