The title pretty much explains it. I have a split playlist set up, and want to be able to re-size the amount of screen realestate the bottum one takes up depending on how many songs it has in it. This could either be a manual or automatic thing, but I would like to be able to do it.
A shot of what I mean is attached.
Where it’s circled the cursor actually turns into a “mover” look, if you know what I mean. And I just want to be able to click and drag to re-size.
As far as I know, and I’m sure Torben will confirm/deny this, it’s not possible to resize ANY controls in the mAirList window while it is running. It’s not possible to do this via script either, so neither manual nor ‘auto’ resizing are possible.
I might be mistaken (and I cannot verify it, because I’m at work and running Linux at the moment), but isn’t there a splitter between the two playlist panels already? Just like there is one between the browsers and the playlists. Move the mouse close to the edge of the panel, and the mouse pointer should turn into a double arrow (or so).
That’s how it’s supposed to be. If it’s not, it’s a bug.
It cannot be resized automatically or by a script though. Manual operation is required.
Note that this does not work with a custom layout (using the layout.ini file).
Yes, I’ve now tried this here and though the vertical splitter control to resize the Browser DOES work, the horizontal one to resize Playlists, though it appears, does NOT work.
Torben: could this be happening because one or more Playlists in mairlist.ini have ToolbarBottom=off set, or is it just a bug?
It’s definitely a bug. The splitter is there, the mouse cursor changes when you move the mouse over it, but it just won’t resize the playlists. I can’t see the reason right now, but I will continue to investigate it.
