Hi,
First, in mAirlist v3 version, where should we store the generic file “icon_dummy.png”, “icon_history.png”… and so on ? in v2, it was in program files, but as the ini file moved to “personal folder”, where should the png files should go ?
Second question : is it a way to define the playlist row height ? At the moment, I put an icon (64x64) but the row resizes the icon instead of the icon resize the row height…

PNG files still go into the “images” folder in the program folder, as in the older versions.
For a fixed row height, use the RowHeight setting in skin.ini.
Ok for the “images” folder (I thought that it would have changed too, like for config files ^^).
However, the “RowHeight” setting is not working.
In [Playlist_0] section, I wrote
“RowHeight=200” and I don’t see any change in my playlist…

The row height is always computed automatically (and dynamically) according to what is going to be displayed (extended display or not, progressbar, comment …).
By default, the icons are resized so they match the row height (and column width). You can specify a fixed icon size with the IconHeight setting, but the row height won’t be adjusted if the icon is too high.
Not beautiful… damned!..
I only have the artist and the title in the row, but all rows seems to be compressed. I would have loved to being able to raise up the height for displaying more “aerated”…
I try with IconHeight, but row stays at the same height…

Do you mean in “non extended mode” where the Artist+Title are next to each other (as opposed to on top) ? When using this mode, the lines seem to be only as big as the font size in use.

When I use “extended mode”, it’s ok for the row height. But, I prefer when Artist and Title are in the same line. It takes place better… (I have a big flat-screen, and playlist object take all the screen width…)
Note : I will post in a few days/weeks screenshot of my new Layout. I hope you will like it. So far from the one that you can see on the mAirlist Website, but always with the “radio@home” trend ^^
Is there a way to define non-extended view for playlist (Title and Artist are in the same line) and to see meanwhile the player name in the column where estimated time is displayed ?
It seems that player name is only displayed in extend-view mode… Am I right ? Are displaying player names and extend-mode playlist view incompatible ?
I had never noticed this before, because I invariably use extended display mode for my Playlist, but you are right.
Making the main Playlist font larger doesn’t help: the player name (and state) are simply not displayed in ‘normal’ (non-extended) Playlist display mode.
It does seem odd, and means the Playlist, GUI Options config setting Show player name in any state is confusing, or else I misunderstand how it works. Maybe it should be renamed Show player state to make its effect more obvious?
