Problem with pre-recorded shows

Hi everybody,

Have a problem here.

We use pre-recorded shows but every week the duration of the files is not the same.

So from dropbox, i putted the files in the database the first time, like this: A.mp3, B.mp3, C.mp3 etc
In my template I did this

  • start hour marker
  • jingle
  • A.mp3
  • jingle
  • B.mp3
  • jingle
  • C.mp3
  • end hour marker.

But… one week is A.mp3 15 minutes long, the other week is it 20 minutes. It seems now that the file is cutted at the original time like it’s stored in the database, in this example after 15 minutes. How can I prevent mairlist from doing this and make sure the file plays till the end?

each time you update the file you will need to adjust the cue markers

Or just remove the cue markers altogether.

Thx! I 've removed the fade out en cue out.
Do I need to do this everytime? I’m not putting the files again in database, just put new files in a directory with the same filename.

Once is enough, we do the same with the News file.
Also consider to disable pre-buffering.

Did what you told me. Hope that’s the problem.

If it’s not in the database, save the metadata as MMD file instead.
