Problem with music scheduling

Hi Torben,

I’ve got some kind of problems with songs scheduling.
Each week, i’ve got 24 new song , each song will be played once a day in 24 slots scattered in a 8 hours slot.
So i’ve got 24 different new songs between 6h-14h, 24 others between 14-22h and 24 others between 22h and 06h.

The problem is that the same song has a tendancy to be played at the exact same hour each day.
For example, each new hour begin by a new song. And 3 days out of 5, the same song will be played at 15h00. I’ve thinked it is pure hazard but it’s happening again each week
I would like the song is played at 14h, next day at 21h, the next at 18h for example… So something more randomly.
I’ve created some rules on settings. And title separation is at 8h (see in attachment).
So i think, there is also a problem with a french translation.
The first setting is “separation de titre” and the third setting is “titre separation” which means the same thing. And i can’t change the language in order to know what is the english or german meaning.

So what is the best setting to make my playlist more randomly ?

Hi Matthieu,

Here is the English version: So you have Track separation, Artist separation and Title separation. Title separation is used for different tracks with the same name, e.g. “jingle bells”. Hope this clarifies it a little.

You might want to consider to use an odd number of songs (e.g. 25) for an even number of slots (e.g. 24). This will give a little bit more rotation.
