Playlist by folders

Hi!

Im new to this software (At the moment using Direttore)
I have 4 short question “Can i let mairlist pic tracks from a folder” what i mean is there anyway to create a playlist by folders (Like this)

Folder named “House Music” -> It automatic generate a track?
Folder named “stinger” -> It autmatic generate a stinger?

Is there anyway to get this software not to play same track within 1-2-3-4-5-6 hours and so on by just tell it not to play that one or not play same artist/track within 100-1000-10000 tracks?

My station is complete automated thats why i need a playlist like that. No one at this station will need to create any playlist it will software automaticly generate by rules.

Is there anyone who know if this software is able to do this?

I am new to the program too but I do know this.

  1. Yes. Folders is exactly how the mini scheduler works.
  2. Yes. it will separate by artist title and track but only on an hourly basis. Not by XXX number of tracks.

I can not stress enough to get and READ the manual. it will explain everything. You will still have questions. But it explains so much.
