Hi Torben, we do not use the cartwall prefering instead to run in a stack in the players.
The players are arranged as 2 stacks of 3 from seperate playlists on 2 soundcards.
I need to make things simple for presenters to remember to cancel automation in the stacks so thought a right click or check box option in a playlist to chain/stack selected files together would simplify things. Once the linked items had played the player dropping back into manual, this is something we currently have in dualplay.
We also need to hide the events button at the bottom of a playlist.
Kind Regards Tony
Looked at the latest version, I cannot get a container item to play all files in it - it just plays the 1.
Perhaps a purpose built stack player may be an option, play a single item or sequence.
Sorry just find how to make a container, it may be a little confusing for some presenters not fully PC literate.
The more I look at this, the easier I consider it would be to shift click the items you want in a container from within mAirList Browser and drop them into the player or playlist required.
Even better would be a player assigned as a container enabled to allow drag and drop items into a queue.
Other any thoughts on how to simplify a stack within the players rather than the cartwall?
This is a stumbling block compared to our current live assist (dualplay) where you can stack 5 items into a player and then click each to say which order you want them to play in.
ie load the player with otems a,b,c,d,e and then click e,a,c,b,d and thats how they play. You can also play 1 or any number of files in the stack individually (the stack is actually 5 players but you chain them together with a click)
