PFL only plays through channel 1

Hi, can anybody help please? I’m using XONAR 7.1 soundcard and have spent hrs messing about setting the players and carts up etc. It seems the players don’t line up with the out puts on the card, eg: - channel 3/4 should be port 2, channel 7/8 should be port 4 so i have the leads swapped over to make it work on the correct fader.

Now the PFL only works on channel 1/2 (aka port 1) despite the settings being changed to the same as the output on each of the carts. I’m going mad now so anybody have any idea what’s wrong?

In the configuration app u can set the soundcard for any player/pfl/cart player in mairlist.
It can be found under the tab soundcards.

Make sure u close the mairlist playout software before starting the configuration app and making these changes. Otherwise they won’t be stored.

Yes I know how to do it and where the settings are but it’s not working, the normal channel is ok but not the pfl even though it’s set to the correct output it only will play on channel 1

U do change the settings while mairlist isn’t running?
If u change settings in the configuration app while mairlist is running, they will not work.

Doesn’t it work at all? Or after rebooting windows?

yes I always use the config app while Mairlist is closed but even though say player 2 is set to play audio through channel 2 and pfl is also set to play on channel 2 it only plays on channel 1, changes the default devices too so they are correct, its weird :slight_smile:

Can u ahow some screenshots of your audiocard settings?
Maybe then it’s clear what happens.
