NEW LAYOUT STYLE

Bit of a long shot here. have a look at this link before reading on:

http://www.hcrfm.co.uk/carts.html

What i want to know is, is there any way of creating an mairlist that looks like this?

Therefore, Is there a way that:

  1. I could create a large button that would look like the big SEGUE button in the middle bottom? This would effectively replace the NEXT button when in AUTOMATION mode.

** even better would be, is there a way that mairlist could be in live assist but when that button is pressed it fades the next item as if it was in automation mode.

  1. At the top is a COMMENT section. basically the same as what we already have that is displayed in the playlist.
Is there a way that it could be put into a seperate box such as the way this is laid out?

** what about the tab option of COMMENT, previous, next, current. Is that at all possible?

  1. I like the YEAR feature. Is there a way we could add that as an option in the file tagger so that it is displayed next to the RAMP section in the playlist.

  2. I also like the TRACK STATUS at the bottom of the players. Is there a way that we could add that option?

I guess most of the questions will get the answer of NO, but thought it was worth a try!!

CHEERS IN ADVANCE!!!

Interesting, though admittingly, I’m happy with the interface of mairlist right now…

is it possible to make the hotkeys for the start of the players user movable? F1-F3 is sort of out of the way depending on how you use the keyboard, at the top of it…I usually like to use the - + and enter on the number keypad, as it’s on the end and easy to access for me…

You can use the -c switch on an icon shortcut to load mAirList with a different mAirList.INI file - You could have an icon for each user on the desktop, but that does seem a little excessive. Find my thread on EPOS Keyboards, they are fairly easy to pickup on eBay for little money - and a custom keyboard is always nicely and a full-size QWERTY.

Hi scottdude you can use most of the qwerty keys for different commands. Look under the config tool/remote.

Kind regards tony

btw:Hi Charlie, long time no hear.

Enter/Return can also be used, but it needs a manual entry into mAirList.ini. (The GUI doesn’t allow to choose Return as a hotkey.)
