Mmd files import playlist

Hello,
doing some stuff at a community radio in caboolture Australia, 4our
over past week a playlist used for weekends. the files were added to a playlist, saved the cue and ramp points, its in a text playlist file which is loaded with other playlist files in year categories, this is in the browser opposite playlist and it loads everytime mairlist is opened.

Now this playlist called weekends, its there, the mmd files are in a central directory, its all good, but, if we add to playlist a song in this list, but from within say a 1970 playlist file, the mmd files is ignored, no ramp points at all.

all i know is the version is really old, version 2 I think, is there a way to have the mp3’s in these other playlists, read the mmd files? the weekends playlist has over 2000 files - that took me forever to do, and the 1970s playlist for examples has about 400 files, all of which are in this weekends playlist, the same for 1960 and 1980, 1990, but because i worked on the weekend list sort of like a master list? only if you take the songs from its playlist does the mmd get read.

I’m trying to have all the other years read the mmd files, can this be done?
-of note, all files are in one big folder, they are not in year or category based folders
Thanks
teshan

I don’t want to appear impolite, but mairlist GmbH (which was founded in 2011, that was the time of v3.x) does not provide any official support for version 4.x or below.

Even for me personally it is impossible to comprehend processes from version 2 in a meaningful way, although I was already working with mAirList back then. It’s just been too long time ago.
I kindly ask for your understanding.

Maybe someone else from the community can help.

Thank you, I appreciate its hard to get help for such old software, but as far as our uses are concerned, it does everything so I’m told thats why they do not upgrade, and as community station in a small regional area, they have no funds to throw around just to sort out a very minor challenge, I might use another program I know will create m3u based on any meta tag type, set it to year, create list and try redo mairlist playlist and see if it picks it up.

just thought someone might have come across this scenarios before, not to worry I somehow figure it out
