Mass change filenames

Since the conversion frm our old playout software we have our new audio files saved using the following format: artist - title.wav.
The old software saved under a non-descriptive identifier.wav (8 digits). All works good within mairlist. But I want to export or change all filenames to the new format using artist-title.wav. I can’t seem to find a way to mass change filenames or export them into some other folder elsewhere.

Any suggestions ?

I use Mp3tag - the universal Tag Editor (ID3v2, MP4, OGG, FLAC, ...) for this. It is a very stable and fast software. The software is free, but they would like it if you donate some $$ to them.

I forgot to mention we store wave audio only. :innocent:
