mAirList Audio Logger - BASS error 46

Cannot figure out what this error is. It is keeping me from starting my logger stream.

Actual error on screen:
Error: RecordStart: BASS error 46

This is my setup:
Dell GX-280 / 3.4Ghz P4 / 1GB RAM / WIN XP SP3 / 250GB HDD
3 - LynxOne Audio Cards
1 - Built in Intel audio card.

When I click on the settings, I can choose from any of these sound cards. When I choose any of the LynxOne cards, it gives me this error when I click ok. When I chose the internal Intel integrated audio card, it works fine. All of the choices in the sound card window are listed as “WDM:”. I don’t know if that is relevant.

What I want to do is use the balanced inputs of the LynxCards for logging. I don’t want/need the internal sound card for anything. All I need are 3 streams.

Hello-

I’m not sure, but if I were troubleshooting this issue, I would first disable the on-board audio card in BIOS and then move forward.

Error 46 means “the device is busy”.

Perhaps the card is in use by another application, and that particular model does not allow to be used by two applications at the same time?

That was the issue! I still had Windows Media Encoder grabbing the cards for some reason.
