When using mAirList 4.2.1 for play out, I notice that jingles and sweepers are louder then the music files. I used MP3Gain to correct this but still jingles come louder.
Is there a way to use some sort of plug in (within mAirList) to level volume levels?
This is probably because most commercially produced jingles and sweepers are compressed and processed to be as loud as possible! It’s the same reason that ads. on TV often sound louder than the programmes.
The best answer that I would suggest is to amend the Properties of each item in mAirListDB to a more ‘correct’ level? It’s on the PFL tab in ‘old’ mAirListDB, if that helps?
I am using mAirListDB 4.2.1. On the tab “Playback” > Settings > there is “Amplification (db)”. Is this what you mean?
