Been a busy few weeks since I last posted, moving 31 domains and hosting to a new virtual home, and cabling up my studio and new rack (shiney rack and processors here: http://instagram.com/p/vwoHULB6bq/?modal=true).
The reason for my post. I’ve downloaded a demo of mAirList to demonstrate to a good friend and station manager I know, as well as learning the ropes myself, and the differences between mAirlist and what I’ve previously been using.
Is there some kind of Quick Start Guide, a “you need to do this to start making noise” sort of thing. Heck even and manual in english perhaps?
I did see an old manual for version 3, but the version 4 is in German, and I had a hard enough job with French when I was at school
I think a lot of the Quick Start in the v3 manual will still apply and get you to create “noise” pretty quickly. What isn’t covered in the v3 manual is a lot of the new stuff like voicetracking and the revised scheduler. Plenty of help here too as mAirlist is so flexible.
Thanks streamer. I’m thinking of writing a simple Quick Start Guide, or perhaps making a video for YouTube. Considering what to cover, like setting up audio devices, importing music, that sort of thing.
Might start with making an overview video when I get some time. I’ve noticed most videos on YouTube are non-english, which isn’t all that bad if YouTubes caption translator was better
