Hi.

If mAirList could automatically import your ID3v2 tags as attributes, which tags would you like to have imported? Album, Year, BPM, Publisher, Language? What else?

I would like to have imported Album, Year, Comment, Genre (Musikrichtung), Composer, Content (Kategorie).

Great feature Torben! I would like mAirlist to import: Artist, Title, Album, Genre, Year, Composer, Publisher, Copyright, BPM, Language.

Others have already mentioned most of the tags I would want, but no-one has yet mentioned Track (as in, track number on the album), which I would definitely want. The Copyright Payment/Licensing authorities find it helpful for royalty payments, to make sure they are paying the right people!

I think it would be useful to also import V2_TSRC (the ISRC code) if one exists.

Torben, can you also confirm that you already import the basic tag info:

  • sampling rate (e.g. 44100 Hz),
  • channels (e.g. mono, dual stereo, joint stereo), and
  • bitrate type (e.g. CBR, VBR)?

I think you already do those but I haven’t looked for some time ;).
