I’m a new user of mAirlist and i have some problems importing .wav-files.
Some of the tracks do have tags, some of them don’t. Tracks without tags or with bad/incorrect tags aren’t looking good in the databsebrowser. Some of the titles aran’t correct, empty or even worse, named track1 etc.
But from these tracks the filenames are all correct, based on “artist - title.wav”.
My complete database collecection is linear PCM build up with this type of filetypes.
Is it possible to import files only based on filenames and the - is the separation between artists and title?
As is described in the manual, make sure you got at least the artist, title and year right before importing the songs in mAirlist.
You could use third-party software, like MediaMonkey, to convert the filenames to the right title and artist, than import your database into mAirlist.
Thnx… After using 4 different programs (mediamonkey, Id3Tag, ID3TagPro, Mp3TagPro) none of the tags are gone.
What i do wrong, i don’t know. Deleting tags isn’t working. The title & artist are still there. I tried eveything and option of all programs.
So when i import a map with audiofiles, mairlist doesn’t show the right & correct artist & tiltle.
The correct info is in the filename. I spend a whole day to solve this problem. With still no result. And i want to use the programm.
Why isn’t it possible to import files based on filename instead of the tag? All my files are named correctly & the same. All the files are Artist - Title.wav.
