I am a new user with mAirlist.
Lets say I want to make VT for the next hour! Inmy play I can only see this hours playlist… How can I load the playlists for the 2-3 hours…?
Best regards Junker
I think you talk about the automaticly generated playlists?
If the playlist is already prepared, you can finde it for example in the database-tool “playlist” and there you can switch day and time as you like.
EDIT:
or if you want to get them into your actual playout, there are several ways to get them hang on to the running playlist.
- OPEN
- PLACE
- or by using any kind of event.
I would like the current hours playlist (the actual hour) and the following hour at the same time! Is that possible?
Do ypu mean “Open playlist” ?

If you mean “Open playlist”…: Where do I find playlists? Where are they placed typically
This is possible.
U can do this using events.
The event needs these 2steps:
-
Action > Database > Load database playlist (This step clears the playlist and loads the current hour)
-
Action > Database>Append database playlist (This step adds a playlist below the first loaded playlist)
Important:
Now for step 2 you need to check the ‘Load the playlist for the next hour (Instead of the current hour’)
This way step 2 will add the playlist of the next hour below the playlist wich is loaded in step 1.
Also important sidenotw. when u run this event at 13:59:50. step 1 will load the playlist of 13:00 and step 2 will load the playlist of 14:00
When starting this event at 14:00:01, step 1 will load the playlist of 14:00 and step 2 will load the playlist of 15:00
Some radiostations work this way:
shortly before midnight TOTH( e.g. 23:59:50) an event loads a playlist (for the next hour) so the playlist of 00:00 will be load.
then every hour at xx:00:05 an event appends a playlist (also for the next hour).
So at 00:00:05 the playlist of 1:00 will be added below, at 01:00:05 the playlist of 2:00 will be added below… etc
This way every night at midnight the playlist gets cleared and u always see current hour and next hour.
Offcourse you can use the first example every hour. (Don’t forget to check the “Skip to current time” checkbox in the actions of the event)
