Is there a way to have a the mini scheduler use a folder and pull files from that folder in ORDER that they are listed?
I have a show that I want to play and it comes in 4 segments that the file names change each week based on the date. Or is there an easier way to do this?

Thank you for this forum by the way. It has really helped me figure this amazing software out.
Usually people just overwrite the file when there is new content, that is, reuse the old filename. (Remember to remove all cue points from the item in the database, otherwise a newer, longer file version will be cut off when Fade Out or Cue Out still refers to the original file version.)
You can type the new name manually on the Filename tab in the properties dialog. Just make sure that the new file is already copyied into the storage folder, but has not been synchronized yet.
Actually there is another ‘easy’ way to do what Tony needs.
The pre-recorded program is in four parts, yes? OK, create four new Virtual Folders in mAirListDB. Name them something like MyShow Part1, MyShow Part2, MyShow Part3 and MyShow Part4 (you get the idea!).
Set up an Hourly Template which contains one entry for each of those four folders, in order. Make sure you mark each entry in the Template as Fixed or mAirList will shuffle them! Or if it’s, say, a two hour show, use two Hourly Templates (again, I hope you get the idea?).
Now put the four pre-record files into the four Virtual Folders. Make sure each Virtual Folder has only ONE file in it at any time.
When you use the Mini Scheduler, voilà! There are your four files, in the correct order. this works because what you are doing is forcing the Mini Scheduler to pick the only available file from each Virtual Folder when it generates the playlist.
Obviously, you need to replace the four files each week and, as Torben said, remove any cue points from the ‘last’ show for each file. You can also only generate one week at a time (!). But now you don’t have to worry about the file names being different each week.
