I used CUE 1.7 and it was easy to make a LPT port interface to start the players by faderstart. Now I want to start using mAirlist, but can’t use the LPT port interfase anymore. Can this forum help me with this problem?? Which pins to use and how to configure mAirlist. Maybe zomeone can mail a simple drawing for wiring the interface.
The usual way to do this in mAirList is to wire up your desk tally signals (fader start contacts) to the board you find inside a PC game controller. This is very easy to do:

Thanks Cad, I wil try it this way.
You’re welcome!
Once you’ve made the electronics, use the List Config program, Remote Control section, to instruct mAirList to respond to those ‘buttons.’
I would strongly recommend getting the unmodified gamepad working and fully tested with your PC (Control Panel, Game Controllers); then back up your existing mAirList CONFIG files, set up mAirList to use the buttons and test them; and only then remove the gamepad’s board and wire it up to your mixer. Remember not to detach the USB cable from the gamepad board while doing the wiring! :
By doing things in that order, you can make 100% sure that the pad itself isn’t in any way faulty before you do anything that will invalidate your warranty and prevent you getting a replacement. ;D
Apologies in advance if I’m teaching my granny to suck eggs, as we say in the UK.

speaking of fader start is what Alcatech FCU-8 works with mairlist?
Thank you
Alexis
No, it does not currently - but I might make it work, because ALCATech provides the programming interface on request.
However, I think that box is far to expensive. With a little soldering, you can get the same functionality for only €10, using the gamepad method.
