Would it be possible to remap Cut, Copy and Paste to Ctrl-X, Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V to align with most Windows stuff these days.

Yes they are. Not sure how obsolete. They still work on a lot of apps. I’m just so used to Ctrl-C etc.
