I use the cue editor to adjust volume. It would be useful to have a shortcut to Amplification+/-db at the same time as being able to see the waveform, so one can see what is happening, rather than switch between Cue Editor and Playback tabs.

I just wanted to suggest the same.
Now you need to Tab back and forward to check.
Maybe not needed in the future due to a new Normalizing system?

when doing VT or in other cases I use the mix editor it would be nice to have a VU meter so you can see the level…

Iv/e found normalising will do a reasonable job, but I can judge volume better by looking at the waveform. Also I’ve found normalising wont decrease the volume anyway
