Couple of things..

I like the new Cartwall, being customisable and touch-screen friendly, however same issue(feature) as v4, if you have the VT window open, being modal, you can’t click on the cartwall to play carts. (You can however use Remote Hotkeys and play the carts!).

Secondly, the Home Studio upgrade price of €49 is shown as inclusive of VAT, if I try and purchase from the US, where I don’t pay VAT, SHare-It reflects VAT at 0% but price still remains at €49

VT+Cartwall:

That’s because the VT window is a “modal” dialog - the main window waits for the VT being finished, and you cannot click or use any other window before closing the VT dialog. Quite convenient for the developer (because it’s a “synchronous” process then), but I understand your concerns. I will look into it.

Home edition pricing:

The prices you see are exactly what you will pay. Please regard the prices as “including VAT”, no matter where you are.

If you’re inside the EU, prices include 19% VAT (German rate), if you’re outside the EU, the rate is 0%. And from 2015, following the new EU digital downloads laws, everyone inside the EU will pay the local VAT rate of their country. So for a Dutch customer, the price will include 21% VAT, for a UK customer it’s 20% and so on… (And I earn a bit less than before - Germany has one of the lowest rates in the EU).

The shop is now set up so that everyone will pay the same end user price of €49 for the upgrade, no matter where they are. I must take care of the correct amount of VAT included in the price. I know it used to be different, you could save a few bucks with a non EU-address previously, but that’s no longer possible now. Sorry for that. But it’s still not overpriced, is it?
