Nothing’s better… :’(
I think I really have to reinstall mairlist. It’s very very strange. I install it on another computer at home, and it works perfectly… The overlap occurs when it has to occur… I don’t know why, on the final computer where mairlist should be install, it’s not correct… I will try to reinstall the application.
I will tell you if it solves the problem or not.
PS : Is it possible, in the playlist players (and in “duration” column in playlist), to see the countdown (the duration) until the startnext point (or fadeout point, no matter), instead of the real end of file ? It’s strange because, none countdown show how will occurs the overlap… I ticked the “Regard Startnext as EOF” in miscallenous area. I also tried with “Regard Fadeout as EOF” (and also both together) and the countdown is only the same… I don’t know why, but I face with so many problem in mairlist.
Help, I’m cursed !!! :o
Those 2 files you sent are very strange - Adobe Audition won’t open them. They appear to be WAV format but I can’t open them. They play in mAirList obviously… Perhaps these file formats are causing problems on your 2nd PC - maybe the sound hardware cannot mix these formats ?
By the way, I didn’t try with mp3 files… It would be a great test…
I’m going to try and I tell you the result… But, it’s strange that it’s ok on others pc and not this one… The soundcard is a standard soundcard, built-in in the pc.
It was just a thought as I remember EncoDAD not being able to mix varying samplerates on Digigram cards as they did all the conversion not the computer. My card here (bedroom PC) is just an SB Audigy. I have an M-Audio Delta 410 in the studio, I’ll try that tomorrow.
Aside from a really daft error your end, it’s the only problem I can think of
Ok, this time, it’s said : I will reinstall the application.
Even if I use mp3 files, the problem is already here… !!!
Theo,
Just to double-check - You copied the exact same mAirList folder (and config) to the other computer and it works ? If they are both identical and the hard-drive folders are identical then the fault must be your PC…
Very strange.
I’ve just reinstalled mairList, after having deleted all the .ini file, the directory and so on…
I didn’t change any settings, all is by default and…
and …
It works !!! ;D
The overlap occurs at the defined point. I don’t know what the wrong parametrization was, but now, it’s okay. I will configure all the settings once again, but being careful about the mix point…
Sorry for all the message where as a reinstall solves the problem… I will be able to go on my mairlist searches. Great! !!!
I’m delighted it is all working for you now. I was about to suggest setting BASS_STREAM_PRESCAN and BASS_SAMPLE_FLOAT but it looks like I will not need to bother now!

I’m not sure of the sentence translation : we are a friendly bunch who all LOVE to help other people! …
But, I think it’s good
Traduction:
J’espere que tu as decouvert que nous sommes tous une groupe des gens qui aiment aider autres gens.
(where is my french gone???) ;D
Salutations
It’s correct.
It’s what I understood.
In French, it would be :
J’espère que tu as découvert que nous sommes un groupe de personnes qui aime aider les autres.
Nice try. Thank you.
