Changes to markers kept on cancel in Mix Editor via VT Recorder

When you open the Mix Editor by using the Edit button in the Voice Track Recorder and you change the position and/or volume of the tracks and you hit the Cancel icon, it seems like all these changes are kept and are not really cancelled. If you reopen the Mix Editor by using the Edit button, the situation is the same as when you hit the Cancel button.

Found the reason, also happened for the Mix Editor inside the playout and DB windows. Hope everything is fixed in the upcoming build 3842.

Cancel is now really cancelling, fixed! Thanks!

In the Mix Editor via the Voice Track Recorder there is a strange behavior when using the undo button. By default the Mix Editor is zoomed in, fitting the voice track in the window, which is perfect! If you move track B a little bit (for example) and you hit the undo button, the window is cleared (no horizontal scrollbar). The tracks are back, fully zoomed out, when you make a drag gesture on one of the track “lanes” (identical to the fully zoom out button). This behavior happens only when the Mix Editor is zoomed in (when the full tracks don’t fit the window), I could also reproduce this when using the Mix Editor from the playlist window in the DB app and from the main app. It’s probably not easy to maintain the zoomlevel and the position of the tracks in the window while resetting the situation.

Yes, exactly. In the current way undo/redo is implemented, a copy of the entire playlist is stored after every operation, and the list is reverted to that copy when you hit the button, which causes a re-initialization of the entire editor. Not much I can do about it right now.

Since the introduction of multi-track containers (and the ability to edit their inner contents straight from the Mix Editor), the handling of the editor content has become somewhat tricky.

I thought so (being in the software business myself).
In any case: mAirList is a wonderful product! Great job!
