Hi Torben, is there a way to disable the closing of panes/tabs in the browser?

Some bright spark as taken to closing them (perhaps mistakenly), with the Add button in the browser disabled it means a restart of mAirList to reload the standard desktop.

There’s no way yet. I’ll move this to feature requests.

Woah…this has confused me…i can disable them :s

Plus…tony was the guy who told me how to in a post a couple of months ago!!

You can also lock out the add,close and refresh button:

Go to the config folder and open skin.ini Under the browser section are these lines:

ShowAdd=on
ShowRefresh=on
ShowClose=on

Change to :

ShowAdd=off
ShowRefresh=off
ShowClose=off

Save and restart mAirList.

Is this what you mean?

Hi Ryan, no I need to stop presenters closing the different tabs of audio in the browser itself.

Once closed they cannot be re-opened with the Add button disabled without restarting mAirList.

I’m confused now lol!

Are we on about the folder trees? If so, what would the problem be because the tree stays there, just click the tiny add icon to open the folder.

If not about that, then am i missing something? Is there another way to close the tabs?

Hi Ryan, you are not confused I am because I tried that and it is as you say.

Somehow, someone has closed the tabs that point to the audio folders.

I guess they opened the Admin mode (basically the same exe file with a different shortcut and layout/functions enabled) changed things and resaved the desktop. Lot to know and do though?

I will have to drop this admin shortcut back into a zip file and password protect it again.
